The feature-length documentary OHO Film, directed by Damjan Kozole and co-produced by Vertigo Ljubljana, RTV Slovenia, and Marinko Sudac, has been garnering strong international attention throughout its festival run. As a comprehensive exploration of the influential Slovenian avant-garde art collective OHO, the film combines rich archival material with contemporary insight into the group’s legacy, including reflections from Marina Abramović on its impact during her Belgrade period.

Since its pre-premiere, OHO Film has been featured at several major festivals and special screenings in recent months. Highlights include screenings at the 31st Festival of Author’s Film (FAF) in Belgrade, the DOKUDOC Documentary Film Festival in Maribor, the Sarajevo Film Festival, and the Festival of Slovenian Film, where it received a Vesna Award for Special Achievement. The documentary also held a celebrated pre-premiere in Vipavski Križ as part of the European Capital of Culture events.

The film’s festival journey has been met with enthusiastic audiences and critical interest, reinforcing the ongoing relevance of OHO’s artistic vision in contemporary discourse. This momentum follows Avantgarde Gallery’s recent presentation of the OHO group at Artissima 2025 in Turin, further amplifying the collective’s international profile and our gallery’s commitment to showcasing seminal avant-garde movements.
